Clare Scherf Sweetman Scholarship

I have been drawn to Lawrence since I was in middle school. I admired the atmosphere and the high level of musicianship that is expected of the students in the conservatory. When I was applying for college, I was afraid that I would be unable to attend Lawrence before finding out about my financial aid award. Receiving the Clare Scherf Sweetman Scholarship has helped relieve some of my stress of affording tuition. I am able to worry less about the specifics of meeting the expense of tuition and can focus on enjoying my time here and getting the most out of my education. I will forever be grateful for the opportunities that this scholarship has awarded me.
